Microsoft DirectXVClock optionally allows GPI control via a Games Port. DirectX version 9.0 is required for this, which you can download from Microsoft this downloads only the components you need), or from my site (This is the entire runtime. Run DXSetup.exe from within the Zip file. Beware, it is a little over 100 meg).
VMeters also requires DirectX in order to read audio levels from an audio card. Note that this requires the DirectSOUND module, which isn't included in all releases of DirectX.

AdvantechVClock can also use an Advantech Card for GPIO. Older versions used the ActiveDAQ Pro drivers. More recent versions (since v4.02) only support the DAQNavi drivers. DAQNavi is the more modern driver and in particular supports 64 bit OS's as well as 32 bit. To use the ActiveDAQ driver in versions pre v4.02, you require both the device driver and the 'ActiveDAQ Pro' driver from Advantech.
Click here to go to the Advantech website, to see the many different cards that they offer and download the latest drivers.
The DAQNavi SDK, including DAQNavi drivers for most cards, can be downloaded from my site. But beware it is very large (over 500 Meg)...
